In 2020 we began our own construction management project – Morelands Farm Redevelopment in Fisher's Pond. With the support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development in partnership with LEADER, our new home started development in June 2020 and was completed in December 2020. 

The project allowed us to showcase our design and build skills; bringing back into use and regenerating redundant agricultural buildings.
The former equestrian facilities, including the existing American barn and stable block, was transformed into office space that enabled us to expand our business sympathetically within a rural environment and provide additional office space for other local businesses to use.

Our management principles and philosophy have been developed in accordance with ISO 9001/14001 and CHAS, for which the company has gained accreditation. We have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, recognised by various trade qualifications such as CIOB, Prince 2, CIWM, and APM. What sets Rekan apart from other consultants is our hands-on approach, which allows us to integrate very closely and commit to the client/user team.

Rekan has developed a clear and robust approach for the delivery projects based on the experience of our team. We have established a Project Delivery Process (or ‘route map’) which sets out the various high-level activities associated with each project stage and function. A number of standard tools/documents have been developed to support this approach which is tailored to suit the needs of each project/client.
